Purpose
For 14 years, Pickens Rotary has hosted Ride to the Rock, our biggest fundraiser of the year and a favorite stop for cyclists across South Carolina and beyond. This year's ride takes place September 26, 2026, in downtown Pickens.
Riders come from all over to enjoy the roads and scenery Pickens County has to offer, many returning year after year, bringing business to our local restaurants, shops, and hotels along the way. Pickens Rotary has spent decades investing in this community, and Ride to the Rock is one of the ways we give back.
This year's ride supports:
- Scholarships for local high school students
- Improvements and repairs to Rotary Park on the Doodle Trail
- Initiatives to improve children's literacy in Pickens County
- Other local charities
